Located in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains of Malibu California, Malibu Horizon is an upscale, drug and alcohol detox treatment center. Malibu Horizon offers a powerful and effective treatment program, and also sets the standard for comfortable, residential treatment. Malibu Horizon offers two beautiful, residential facilities. Each facility is tastefully appointed with carefully chosen amenities designed to make each of our clients feel completely at home.

Client Safety

Both facilities are safe and secure. Our support staff is on-duty 24 hours a day, and they closely monitor all activities to ensure the well being of all of our clients.

Food Arrangements

Our world class chef prepares delicious meals on-site to meet the preferences and dietary needs of each patient. Special emphasis is placed on proper diet, to promote the healing process.

Room Arrangments - Privacy

Private and semi-private room accommodations are available. Single or double occupancy is offered at each location. Each facility is licensed to accommodate a maximum of 6 patients at a time.

Therapy Settings

Therapy is done in a variety of settings. One-on-one counseling is done in the privacy of the therapist's office. Group therapy takes place in quiet, comfortable rooms. Our other therapeutic modalities take place in the most appropriate environment for maximum healing and with the utmost concern for the comfort of our clients. Equine therapy is conducted at a nearby ranch.

Non Liability for Professional Services

All patients and their doctors have individual treatment agreements for services rendered. All doctors of medicine furnishings services to clients at Malibu Horizon are independent consultants, not employees or agents.
