Our Psychiatrists, therapists, and psychologists provide world-class, clinically oriented treatment for people suffering from alcoholism, substance abuse, and a co-occurring mood disorder such as depression.

At Malibu Horizon we treat the whole person. Our Holistic treatment approach is designed to help our patients heal gently. We also offer equine therapy, art therapy, music therapy, guided meditation, and relaxation therapy to connect our patients with their creative side. Alternative to 12 Step Treatment

Malibu Horizon is an upscale, non-12-Step program. Malibu Horizon is in no way opposed to the 12-Steps. In fact, we actually offer our patients the opportunity to attend AA meetings. We then realize, however, that AA is not for everyone. Our clients, who frequently consist of analytical, highly intelligent professionals, come here because many of them have not found success in a 12-Step program. We can introduce patients to 12-Step programs, but we specialize in powerful, effective alternatives to the 12-Steps. Learn More
