Program Schedule for Our Drug Rehab Program
As a Patient, You Will Have Questions
Most people have no idea what to expect from a residential treatment program, especially one that uses dual diagnosis like Malibu Horizon.
They wonder "Will there be many other patients in the drug rehab program?" "What will be expected of me during alcohol detox?" "How will I be spending my time during alcohol or drug rehab in Malibu?"
Our program is designed to be a small, intimate group setting of adult men and women, with a six-patient maximum enrollment at any one time. This limited number allows us to personalize the recovery experience for each patient.
Our program features a small, intimate group setting of adult men and women, with a six-patient maximum enrollment at any one time. This limited number allows us to personalize the recovery experience for each patient as well as offer assistance for co-occurring conditions, such as bipolar disorder treatment.
At Malibu Horizon, we never have preconceived expectations for our patients. We meet the patient where he or she is and adjust the program accordingly. Rather than using a cookie-cutter approach for everyone seeking drug or alcohol rehab in Los Angeles, we look at each person as a distinct individual.

- Educational component to discover and learn how the brain is connected to behavior and how the behavior can be modified.

Benefits of Yoga
Yoga has proven to be extremely effective for various disorders. By gently stretching muscles and joints yoga ensures the optimum blood supply to various parts of the body. This helps in the flushing out of toxins and providing nourishment to body parts. Yoga through meditation works remarkably to achieve the harmony and help the mind work in synchrony with the body. In fact, yoga = meditation because both work together in achieving the common goal of unity, mind, body and spirit- a state of eternal bliss. The meditative practices through yoga help in achieving an emotional balance through detachment. This in turn creates a remarkable calmness and a positive outlook which also has tremendous benefits on the physical health of the body.
