Alternative to 12 Step Treatment
Malibu Horizon is an upscale, non-12-Step program. We realize AA and the 12-Step model are not for everyone. Our clients frequently consist of people who come here for treatment because they have not found success in 12-Step programs. Malibu Horizon is in no way opposed to the 12-Steps. In fact we offer patients the opportunity to attend AA meetings, if they choose. We can introduce a patient to the 12-Step program, if they are interested.
